This Privacy Policy explains how Brat Maker ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website at https://bratmaker.com (the "Service"). Brat Maker is a free online tool that turns text you type into a Charli XCX "Brat" album-cover-style image that you can customize and download. It is supported by ads and optional tips, and does not require an account.
a. Text you enter. The words you type into the generator are processed in your browser to render the image. We do not store this text or the images you create on our servers.
b. Usage data and cookies. We automatically collect basic usage and device data (pages visited, browser type, device type, approximate location from IP address) through cookies and similar technologies. See Section 4 for details.
c. Ad-free links. If you received a personal ad-free link and open it, its code is saved in your browser's local storage so that ads stay off in that browser. Clearing your browser data removes it.
We do not sell your personal information.
Brat Maker used to offer Google Sign-In and paid plans. We removed both in November 2026 and no longer collect Google account information. We will delete existing account data (name, email address, profile picture, Google account identifier, and credit balance) within 30 days of that change.
Records of past purchases (product, amount, date, and status) are retained as required for accounting and legal purposes. Payments were handled by a third-party payment processor, and we never received or stored your full card number.
We use a cookie to remember the language you choose, and third-party analytics and advertising cookies (such as Google Analytics and Google AdSense) to understand usage and show ads. You can control cookies in your browser settings and manage ad personalization at Google Ads Settings.
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service (hosting, analytics, advertising), and only as needed for those purposes, or when required by law.
Tips are handled by Buy Me a Coffee, a separate service with its own terms and privacy policy, which apply to the details you give them. We may see the supporter details they share with us, such as your name and message.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing support@bratmaker.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you had an account, you can also revoke Brat Maker's access to your Google account from your Google Account permissions page.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
