The same six sizes as the template bar above, drawn to scale. Square for album and Spotify covers, 9:16 for Stories and TikTok, 16:9 for banners.
The original cover is a square. These are the sizes people actually export it at, with where each one is used. All are available as one-click presets above.
1080 × 1080 px (3000 × 3000 for distributors)
Instagram feed, SoundCloud, Bandcamp artwork. Distributors like DistroKid ask for 3000 × 3000 — set it as a custom size in the Canvas tab.
640 × 640 px, JPG under 256 KB
Spotify accepts a minimum of 300 × 300; 640 × 640 is the recommended size. Export as JPG to stay under the file limit.
1080 × 1920 px
Full-screen vertical. Keep text in the middle 60% so it clears the caption and profile overlays.
1200 × 675 px
16:9 landscape for timeline posts. Also works as a YouTube community image.
Any — import the PNG
Export the blank green square and set it as a Canva background, then type over it with Archivo Narrow or Roboto Condensed.
A Brat template is really three numbers and a font: the green (#8ACF00), a square canvas, and lowercase condensed text with a blur. That simplicity is why the cover turned into a format for fan art, playlist covers, party flyers and profile pictures. This page packages it as presets so you do not have to rebuild it every time. Choose a size, type your word or export the blank square, and you have a correctly proportioned PNG with the right color. For album-style text we recommend one word and the default blur; for playlist covers keep the text small so it survives Spotify's rounding and thumbnails; for Stories move the text toward the middle. If you want full control over fonts and effects, every preset here opens in the same engine as the Brat Text Generator.
Click a size chip above the text box: album cover, Spotify cover, Story, banner, or a blank square. It sets the canvas and resets the text.
Type one word for the album look, or choose a blank template to export the plain green square and add text later in Canva or Photoshop.
Swap the green for white or any hex, and set the blur in the Effects tab. Keep it at 0 if you plan to type over the template elsewhere.
Export PNG for lossless color, or JPG for Spotify's 256 KB limit. Each download uses one credit.
Yes. Choose "Blank green square" or "Blank white square" above and download. It exports as a flat-color PNG at the selected size.
It is a square. Streaming services display it at 640 × 640 and smaller; distributors require 3000 × 3000. 1080 × 1080 is the standard social size.
Canva does not ship an official one. Export the blank square here, import it as a background, and type over it with a free condensed font such as Archivo Narrow.
This site uses #8ACF00; #8ACE00 is the other commonly quoted value. They are indistinguishable on screen.
