Arial Narrow is the Brat look. The other five are in the font menu of the editor above, so you can compare them on your own text.
The Brat cover is a single lowercase word set in a condensed sans-serif on a flat lime-green square. The typeface is widely identified as Arial Narrow — the squeezed cousin of Arial that ships with Windows and Microsoft Office — rendered at a low resolution so the edges look soft and slightly pixelated, then stretched a touch horizontally. Charli XCX has said the design was meant to look deliberately cheap and anti-polished, which is why it reads more like a text message than an album cover. There is no official "Brat font" file to download: the look comes from the combination of Arial Narrow, lowercase letters, tight letter-spacing, a blur filter and the green (#8ACF00 on this site, often quoted as #8ACE00). Our generator reproduces all four ingredients, so you do not need to install anything.
Arial Narrow is a commercial font, so we do not host it for download. These free, openly licensed condensed fonts get you the same feel in Canva, Figma, Photoshop or CSS.
Metric-compatible with Arial Narrow, so line breaks and widths match almost exactly. SIL Open Font License.
A clean grotesque condensed family on Google Fonts. Slightly rounder than Arial Narrow but reads the same at Brat sizes.
Google's condensed workhorse. Use the Regular weight, lowercase, and tighten letter-spacing by 3–5%.
Whichever font you pick, the recipe is the same: lowercase text, letter-spacing around −5%, a 2–4 px Gaussian blur, and a flat #8ACF00 background with no gradients or shadows.
Most album covers hide their typography behind photography. Brat does the opposite: the type is the cover. Because the word is small, lowercase and blurred, it behaves like a logo rather than a headline — which is also why it became a meme format and why so many people search for "the Brat font" expecting a special download. The honest answer is that it is ordinary condensed type treated badly on purpose. That is good news for you: any condensed sans-serif, lowercased and blurred on the right green, passes as Brat at a glance. This page gives you a generator for the fast route and the font list above for the manual route in your own design tools.
One to three words work best. The Lowercase switch is on by default because the original cover is all lowercase.
The Font tab starts on the Brat default, which is the Arial Narrow look. Switch to Anton or Roboto only if you want a bolder poster style.
The Effects tab controls the signature blur. Around 3–4 px at 1080×1080 matches the cover; set it to 0 for a crisp version.
Export as PNG for transparent-free, lossless output, or JPG for a smaller file. Each download uses one credit from your account.
A condensed sans-serif that is widely identified as Arial Narrow, rendered at low resolution, lowercase, with tight letter-spacing and a soft blur. There is no separately released "Brat" typeface.
Arial Narrow itself is a commercial font that comes with Windows and Microsoft Office, so we do not distribute it. Liberation Sans Narrow, Archivo Narrow, Roboto Condensed and Nimbus Sans Narrow are free alternatives linked above.

This site uses #8ACF00. The value most commonly quoted online is #8ACE00 — the difference is invisible on screen. Use either for a match.
The blur is part of the design. The original cover was rendered small and scaled up, which softens the edges. You can set blur to 0 in the Effects tab if you want sharp text.
Every tool below runs on the same Brat engine — same font, same green, same blur. Pick the one that matches what you are making.
